The PS3 Collector's edition of SF 4 is selling out almost everywhere fast. I had to order from a place that I normally hate just to snag one for myself
Fanboy PP talking with zero facts out of is behind knowing he doesn't even own a ps3 huh?
Just how many names do you have troll? You KNOW you aren't fit for the gamerzone
Some developers know how to do things better than others. Sony Santa Monica might have a different skill set than Naughty Dog. Whether it has an install or not I could care less. It sure as well won't stop me from enjoying the game
King of Fighters was always a sort of more matured, more "hardcore" fighting game. Even back in the days when Fatal Fury was going head to head with SF 2, the SNK games were considered more "advanced" even though SF usual got more of the $$$ and attention
I'm not doubting tales at all, but Demon Souls shipment was small. And it sold out of it. So yeah, tales sold more, but it sure as hell didn't "hold off" Demon Souls.
Please, allow me to cry :)
And check what facts? All I did was ask a question. This is the first time I've ever even seen this GenDigi place posted here (or anywhere for that matter). And if this GenDigi place has multiple articles as you claim, they should have better grammar than what they do
Maybe you should stop assuming. It'll make you look less stupid in the future :)
I could be wrong, but why do I get the feeling that you are the writer of said a...
That this is one of those fanboy sites that we'll only see this one time and never see it again like so many other sites with "articles" that become one hit wonders?
That would just make my day
That's all I'm going to say for this article. And since Variety has that partnership with MS, this article loses just about all it's value to begin with.
It's one thing if the game is already out and a company decides to add dlc.
But this announcing DLC before a game is released is a good indication that this COULD have been packed with the game.
This economy is going to make plenty of companies milk DLC for all it's worth and then some
Are the ones that have had sequels come out. Like Resistance 1 and Motorstorm 1 servers might not be that full anymore since sequels to both of those games came out
EXACTLY
You just explained the true reason as to why a one console future would be disastrous
The keys here are
-innovation would begin to die out due to lack of competition
-and prices of games would skyrocket due to lack of competition.
We know it costs a great deal to make a game nowadays. But even if there was a one console future and the games suddenly became cheaper to make, the prices of games would STILL skyrocket because they'...
I never said it wasn't A reason. I just said it wasn't the ONLY reason
Think about that and be careful of what you wish.
A one console generation could almost completely eliminate innovation because there won't be anyone to "out do".
And if people think games cost too much $$$ now, what do you think will happen to those prices without the competition of other consoles?
YOU are the one calling people droids, cursing, calling people idiots, and talking crap. And what you said doesn't explain your first comment at all. And before you call someone an idiot, you should pay better attention on how you talk.
And how many times have we seen companies say "we aren't making a game for one system" just for that to turn around and be false later. Like Bioshock for example
Because that makes ZERO sense to me
Hear me out on this one fellas. We got used to EA milking things for years. And as a result, most of the gamers and media alike have scorned and mocked them. BUT, milking things was making them money.
But now that Riteciello is their president, they've tried to innovate (army of two, mirror's edge, dead space). Normally, that is a wonderful thing. They are starting to make good games and the fans and media alike are giving them more respect. HOWEVER, sales aren't what they should...
Great work guys. Now sniff out the other 1 million liars of N4G
I do expect they'll try to be there eventually since they've been losing profits like nobody's business.
It's on Amazon's website, but Amazon isn't the one selling it. Amazon sold out of the ps3 version. So now individual sellers are selling the PS3 version. And that place on Amazon that is selling it is price gauging
